The Ministry of Home Affairs produce the list of organizations that are banned in India. These are mostly terrorist groups. Currently about thirty eight groups have been banned under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, section 35. The ban extends restrictions on

-right for peaceful assembly without being armed
