1. washing of cars and other automobiles.
2. use of excess water while washing dishes.
3. throwing away water left in glass after drinking.
4. filling washing machine to full level even when number of clothes is less.
5. changing water often while scrubbing the floors.

Ways in which it can be conserved are:

1. Reusing dirty water to water plants.
2. Covering the glass for use later on instead of throwing it.
3. Limiting the change of water while scrubbing.
4. Using water proportionate to needs.

We waste too much water in washing the car, if we wash it by a hose pipe.
