Established in the year 1860, the Maharashtra Education Society has been contributing to the field of education by providing education from kindergarten to post-graduation. The Maharashtra Education Society(MES) has been contributing to the field of education by providing schools andcolleges for SSC, HSC and CBSE. MES comprises of Pre-primary, primary, High School, Colleges, Post graduation,Personality Developement, Nursing,Medical and a Girls Military School. While nurturing quality education, the society makes persistent efforts to inculcate social and moral values amongst the students to develop them into responsible and patriotic citizens of India. With over 150 years of glorious past of it’s existence, the MES is an icon of the service to the noble cause of education that resembles a ‘Dnyan Vruksha’. Today MES comprises of 77 schools, colleges and institutions with 40,000+ students, teachers and administrative staff. MES has top schools,colleges and institutes in Pune, Saswad,Baramati, Panvel, Belapur, Kalamboli,Shirwal, Kasar Amboli, Chiplun andAhmednagar.

Past and Present

The Maharashtra Education Society dates back to the year 1860. It was formerly known as the 'Poona Native Institution'.
