Oviparous are the animals which lay eggs and later when the young ones are fully nurtured in the eggs they hatch out from it. The examples are birds, amphibians, reptiles etc Whereas, viviparous animals are those animals which give birth to a young one. In this the fertilized egg develops into a complete zygote in which the young one is completely nourished. Human beings, elephants, kangaroos and other mammals are the examples of viviparous animals.
