Answer:

Responsibility. Being responsible means being dependable, keeping promises and honoring our commitments. It is accepting the consequences for what we say and do. It also means developing our potential. People who are responsible don't make excuses for their actions or blame others when things go wrong

What are our responsibilities to other people?

It's sleek, mystique & chic!

This question had been hanging in my 'Asked to Answer' list since last 3 days. Initially, I decided to avoid it - thinking what can a young introvert write about 'other people'.

But today the 'responsible' me took over. Abhimanyu, its your 'responsibility' to answer this because it has been asked for you to answer. So here I am, with my responsibility.

The way I see people carrying the term responsibility - it is very relative. For some responsibility is confined to a mere sphere of people - they themselves, friends, relatives and loved ones. For others, responsibility additionally expands to work. And for some it could mean the necessity to change the world someday.

So was there already a ready list before you even begun? Could be yes, Could be No. But does it matter? The list will also be highly relative, deeply encrypted in the quantum jumping segments of our individual hearts. So what you feel like a responsible thing to do - I might feel it to be extremely foolish and vice versa.

How much of it is society? How much of it is you? This entire society thing is a trap. I am telling you, it is a biggg trap. Its all about the selfish us. As Robin Williams (the great) quotes in Good Will Hunting - 'We get to choose who we let into our weird little worlds'. Even the no-nonsense character of Lord Krishna speaks out in Geeta - 'Arjun, it is we who make up the society, not the society that makes us'. So it is all about us - it is we who define what is responsible and what isn't. It is we who decide our sufferings and hence our joys.

Capturing the world is your responsibility towards it because memories like ideas need to be captured - created - planted. Changing the world, for better, is mine.

Hope this helps.
