ISRO..indian space and research organisation is India's primary space agency. on November 5 2013 ISRO launched the mangalyaan from the satish dhawan space centre - sriharikota range . its official name was the mars orbiter mission (MOM).mangalyaan which means 'mars craft' in sanskrit was the first interplanetary probe ever launched by india...the total expenditure of only rs 450 crores. many even call it the cheapest mars mission till date.
