Basic radical :- the ion forms after removal of hydroxide ion ( OH⁻ ) from a base is knon as basic radical . Example :- NaOH ⇔Na⁺ + OH⁻ , here Na⁺ ion is basic radical .
Similarly some basic radicals are :
Base <======> basic radical
1. NaOH ⇒Na⁺
2. KOH ⇒K⁺
3. Mg(OH)₂ ⇒Mg²⁺
4. Ca(OH)₂ ⇒Ca²⁺
5. RbOH ⇒Rb⁺
6. CsOH ⇒ Cs⁺ and more..... are good examples of basic radical
