Some physical changes take place as the result of maturity attained at the time of puberty.
Some of them are :
In boys :
Increase in height.
Development of body hair in chest and face.
Voice change because the larynx increase in size.
Some body changes like broadening of waist etc..
In girls :
Increase in height.
Shrill voice.
Body change like broadening of waist etc..
These changes are also known as secondary sexual characters.

in females at the age of 11 to 12 and in males at the age of 14 -15 many changes takes place:
in boys, voice becomes harsh and deep , moustaches and beard start appearing
in girls ,pelvic bones grow stronger , hip becomes broader and voice becomes shrill
the reproductive organs become functional
