The melting point of DNA is connected to the GC content of it.

Since the GC forms 3 hydrogen bonds while AT forms two hydrogen bonds, the more GC you have in your DNA high the melting point will be.

For example if the GC content is about 50- per cent then melting point is approximately around 50c.
