List out the names of plants and animals through which various types of fibres
are obtained. Collect information about the various processes by which these

Sheep’s hairy skin consists of  two types of fibers that form its fleece as stated below :

(i ) the coarse beard hair, and (ii) Skin-related fine soft under-hair.

Fiber is of two types, namely natural and man-made.

Natural fibers are originated from plants and animals sources that are jute, cotton, wool, silk, etc. Fibers that are available from nature, i.e., from plants and animals are termed as natural fibers and those made by humans by chemical processing are known as synthetic fibers. Wool and silk are obtained from animals and cotton and jute are obtained from natural resources like plants.
