The types of prose fiction

Fictional prose is actually imaginative writing. Different types of Fictional prose are:

• Novels: a fictitious narrative of book length, which describes the characters and the action with a small amount of realism.

• Parables: these are short and simple stories that convey a moral or a spiritual lesson.

• Short story: it is a fully developed story which is much lesser in length when it is compared with a novel.

• Drama: it is a story which is played on the stage using the characters in real form. These are played on television, radio or else even on a stage.

    While writing a fiction, the writer involves his own life story in it. They try to entertain and also educate us. Fiction, specifically novels have proved to shape not only the pouter world, but also the inner world of the audience.
