Ingetion : In take of food

Digestion : broken down of complex , insoluble food components into soluble and simple molecules

Absorption : After digestion food molecules becomes soluble and simple these molecules passes from wall of inestine and get important nutrients get absrb into the blood.

Assimilation : This is the process in which absorbed nutrients are used for growth, production of energy , repairing

Egestion : This is the process by which undigested food is thrown out of the body
