Harmful Effects of Bacteria are as follows :-

(i) Saprophytic bacteria like Lactobacillus spoil milk as well as the milk products.

(ii) Food poisoning is one of the most harmful effect of bacteria it occurs due to the production of toxins in the food.

(iii) Citrus canker disease is caused in various plants leaves like lemon, fruits and in carrot.

One of the main disease seen in rice plants, blight disease which is caused by a Bacteria.

(iv) Some bacteria like cholera (Vibrio cholerae), gastric ulcer (Heliobacter pylori) cause disease in humans as well.

(v) In few animals like cattle, horse and sheep, anthrax disease is seen which is caused by a Bacteria 'Anthracis'.

(vi) Botulism disease is also caused by a bacteria which even can kill a person.
