Industrial uses of metal are :-

Chosen for their durability, strength and resistance to weather, metals used in the construction industry serve a wide range of functions. The most common of them are carbon steel, aluminum, copper tubing and stainless steel, which each have their particular qualities and ideal uses.

Industrial uses of non metal are :-

Non-metallic compounds, such as cement and glass have innumerable uses in modern civilization. Hydrogen is used in the hydrogenation of vegetable oils to make vegetable ghee. It is used in the manufacture of ammonia. Liquid hydrogen is used as a rocket fuel.
