immolation a very big problem in our community . they thought that gof may bless them if they get the soul of any animal or any holy man .
Fast in hindi known as व्रत many people belives that having fast for one day would made them blessed by God . Many days are selected for particular fasts like karvachoth , etc .... it may make a weaker person to die as of living without drinking even only a drop of water but these can be ok as many reasons are given about them as they can beneficial for body
