Dholavira is an important site of Indus Valley civilization that was excavated in Kutch region of Gujarat.

It is mainly famous for the Harappan architecture, among which a citadel and two well planned townships are the prime features.

All the buildings of this place were built of stone, unlike the brick buildings of other Indus Valley sites.

There are two storm water channels on north and south of Dholavira, along with several stone-made reservoirs for rainwater reservation.
