Answer :- The three parallel ranges of the Himalayas are :-

1). Himadri or Great Himalayas :-

The northern most range is known as the Greater Inner Himalayas or the Himadri.

The core of this part of the Himalayas is composed of granite.

2). Himachal or Lesser Himalayas :-

The northern most range is known as the Lesser or Middle Himalaya or the Himachal.

The ranges are mainly composed of highly compressed and altered rocks.

3). Shiwalik Range :-

The outermost range is known as the Shiwalik.

These ranges are composed of unconsolidated rock material, so these ranges are prone to earthquakes and landslides.
