• There is a sudden increase in height.

• Growth of hairs on different parts of body.
• The voice of girls become high pitched and the voice of boys become deep.
• The secretions of sweat glands and sebaceous glands increase.
• Sex organs become active. In boys, testes start producing sperms and in girls, ovaries start to produce egg.
• There are changes at mental, intellectual and emotional level.
