Meristamatic tissues huh, they are immature and small and are Highly Metabolicaly Active and all Cells in these M.tissues are Living unlike other tissues where some are dead and some are living because they Continuously Divide(i.e. why they are used in Tissue Culture).just remember meristos -means- divisible(Divide). hope it helps
