Features of parenchyma:

1 They form basic packing tissue.

2 Cells of this tissue are relatively unspecialised and may be oval, rounded or 3 elongated in shape.

4 Their cell walls are thin.

5 These cells are living.

6 They show large intercellular spaces.

7 Cytoplasm is dense with a small nucleus.

8 The celss possess a large central vacuole.

9 Parenchyma provides support to plants and also stores food

Features of collenchyma:

1 They possess living cells.

2 It shows deposition of extra cellulose at the corners of the cells.

3 Intercellular spaces are generally absenjt.

4 Their cells are elongated in shape.

some characteristics of parenchyma

parenchyma is most simple and unspecialized primitive tissue.

It mainly consists of thin walled cells which have intercellular spaces between them.

the cell wall is made up of cellulose or calcium pectate.

Each cell has a prominent nucleus and a vacuolate cytoplasm.

The cells are living and perform metabolic processes.

There is a large central vacuole in each cell.

Features of collenchyma:

They possess living cells.

It shows deposition of extra cellulose at the corners of the cells.

Intercellular spaces are generally absenjt.

Their cells are elongated in shape.
