List the chemical changes that a starch molecule undergoes from the time it reaches the duodenum to the time its carbon atoms become part of carbonate molecules. Say where in the body these changes occur.

Starch firstly gets converted into simple sugar in the mouth by Saliva(which contains an enzyme called Salivary Amylase). In stomach 2 enzymes Pepsinogen & Prorenin are the protein digestive enzymes
