starch is 30% digested in mouth by ptyalin..
in oesophagus nd stomach there in no digestion of starch...
starch dig. completes in small intestine by amylopsin in pancreatic juice and maltase..lactase etc in intestinal juice nd is finally converted to glucose ..galactose etc..
