1) The path taken by the nerve impulse in a reflex action is called as reflex arc. The path followed is:
        Stimulus → Receptor → Sensory Neuron
                                                  (Sensation)
                                                           ↓  
                                                 Interneuron
                                                 (Processing)
                                                           ↓
      Response  ← Effector   ←  Motor Neuron

 2)  Reflex action is mainly controlled by spinal cord as these are very quick action which do not require thinking. Brain has no direct role in reflex action but brain will recieve sensory input while reflex action occurs.
