Sulabh International has been of help in several ways. It has provided toilets across many places and has triggered a process that has been able to put into our minds the necessity of having these in public places to serve a basic necessity that was early lacking. People willingly pay to use these facilities, which makes them self-sufficient. Local, unemployed youth run these facilities as business ventures. The public places today are cleaner as defaecation and urination is a thing of the past in the open around these places.
