Important differences between East flowing and west flowing rivers are -

a) East flowing rivers generally starts from western ghats but West Flowing rivers come from eastern ranges like Maikal, Satpura etc.

b)East flowing rivers falls on Bay of Bengal but west ones fall on the Arabian sea.

c) East flowing rivers are generally flow through less force but the west flowing rivers flow through high force.

d)Lastly, West flowing rivers are formed also due to the great faults like latur faults but East flowing rivers are formed due to downward pressure.
