Answer: MOUTH(BUCCAL CAVITY): It is where mastication(chewing of food with the teeth) takes place. That is also where the saliva is, which contains the enzyme, amylase that aids in digestion of carbohydrates.

OESOPHAGUS(GULLET): This is where food and liquid passes through to the stomach.

STOMACH: This is where the digestion of protein foods begins. The stomach contains Hydrochloric acid to help break down protein food substances.

SMALL INTESTINE(ILEUM, JEJUNUM AND DUODENUM): Its primary function is to absorb nutrients and vitamins such as electrolytes, iron, carbohydrates, proteins and fats.

LARGE INTESTINE(COLON): This is where absorption of water takes place.

RECTUM: This is where faeces/stools are temporarily stored.

ANUS: It is an opening where undigested  food substances come out from(Egestion)
