Resistance depends on:
1. Length of Wire, (directly proportional)
2. Area of Cross-Section, (inversely proportional)
3. Temperature, (directly proportional)
4. Nature of Material.

Resistance is directly proportional to the length of the conductor.

Resistance is inversely proportional to the area of cross section of the conductor.

Resistance also depends on the type of conductor or wire. That is copper and nichrome are good conductors that is they have less resistance.

Resistance also depends on temperature. When the temperature is more the resistance increases.
