Some of the factors affecting transpiration are:-

1. Temperature-There will be more evaporation taking place if there is high temperature. Therefore increase in temperature allows more water to evaporate and decreasing in temperature reduces evaporation.
2. Intensity of sun light-At night the stomata are closed and at day time they are open due to sun,therefore more temperature occurs during day time.
3. Atmospheric pressure-The rate of transpiration is inversely proportional to atmospheric pressure.
4. Humidity - If there is more amount of water vapour in the air then there will be low amount of transpiration.... Transpiration decreases with increase in humidity.
5. Carbon-di-oxide- The increase in natur of Co2 will not let stomata to open..these may led to no transpiration.
6. Water conducting in leave- If the water taken by roots of plant is less then there will be less transpiration.... and vice versa.
