Resistivity - Resistivity of a conductor is Resistance of the conductor of unit length and unit area of cross section

It depends on the following factors:-
1.) Material of the conductor
2.) Temperature

Factors affecting resistivity.
1. Resistance of a wire:
More is the resistance of the wire, greater is the resistivity.

2. Length of the wire:
The resistivity increase with decrease in length.

3. Cross-sectional area:
The resistivity increases with the increase in cross sectional area.

4. Temperature:
The resistivity increases with increase in temperature.
