Factors that create inequalities and hamper the success of democracy:
India is a democratic country and known for its values in the constitution like equality, republic, secularism, sovereignty, diversity and integrity. By equality, it means the people of a different race, caste, gender or religion enjoys the same opportunity and faces the same law.
But, even today, people are biased towards gender, race and religion. It gives rise to the questions of democracy in the country. If India is by the people, then the law, rules and regulations should be the same to everyone in the country. Also, there should be no bias in the opportunities provided to the people.
