mixed farming :in this type of farming two or more crops are planted together so that the area where crops are planted do not get deficienct in any particular nutritient.
crop rotation :after planting a one crop the piece of land is left unused for sometime and then then other type of crop is planted that land could gain the nutrients it have lost in the previous crop .
