Chhattisgarh has been well-known for its cement plants, steel plants and rice mills. Raipur, Durg, Bilaspur and Korba are the principal districts in the field of industrial expansion in Chhattisgarh. The Bhilai Steel Plant in Durg district ensues to be the major incorporated steel plant of India.
