(iii) Red and Yellow soil - Hydrated read soil is yellow in colour. It has high potash concentration.
(iv) Black Soil - It is best for cultivation of cotton. It has high concentration of iron.
(v) Laterite soil - It is found in chennai and other coastal areas. They are hard in texture.
(vi) Arid soil - It is sandy in nature . It is not fit for cultivation.
