list the materials and chemicals required for getting barium sulphate precipitate 10th cl
what do you mean exothermic and endothermic reaction
Answers
Answer:
Materials required for getting Barium Sulphate precipitate, these are the following materials are required.
* Two test tube.
* Sodium Sulphate around 2ml
* Barium Chloride around 2 or 3ml.
* Stand or Tongs to hold two test tubes.
Step 1 :- Take a first test tube.
Step 2:- Add 2 ml of Barium Chloride for the first testube.
Step 3:- Take another test tube.
Step 4:- Add 2ml of Sodium Chloride for the second test tube.
Step 5:- Now slowly take any of the test tube whether it is first test tube and second test tube which contain two chemical compunds in both of the test tube namely Barium Chloride and Sodium Sulphate. Mix both the chemicals in any one test tube.
Now, you can see the reaction of both the chemical compunds.
See the belowed chemical equation,
BaCl2 + H2SO4 → BaSO4↓ + 2HCl.
As you can see the above chemical equation, here the precipitate formed in this above chemical reaction is Barium Sulphate (BaSO4).
* Exothermic Reaction :- The reaction in which heat is released.
* Endothermic Reaction :- The reaction in which heat is absorbed.
