There are many types of motion: linear motion, circulatory motion, random motion etc.
1) When an object travels in straight line, then it is said to be linear motion eg, A person running in straight line.
2) When you see an object moving around its orbit, then it is said to be in circulatory motion for eg, motion of a fan.
3) When an object vibrates and it does not move in one direction it is said to be in random motion, for eg.,a butterfly flying."
