The “electrons” are present in 3d- orbital as given in the question.

For the 3d orbital, we know that the

  • “Principal quantum number = 3, i.e., n = 3”
  • “Azimuthal quantum number = 2, i.e., l = 2”
  • When “Azimuthal quantum number  l = 2 then the value of ml = -2,-1, 0 ,+1,+2”
  • And the “Magnetic quantum number = – 2, – 1, 0, 1, 2” i.e., ml = – 2, – 1, 0, 1, 2.
