Maps are used when we have to study a particular region such as a country or a state or a city. However, it cannot be used efficiently to make comparison between the sizes of countries and the distance between them. Also, maps do no represent places in their real location because they are flat and earth is almost a perfect sphere. Globes provide a more accurate real-life location of a place. Globes can be used to measure or predict time, climate and temperature physically by their location. Hope you understand what I mean.
