STEP 1
Take a plant and put it in a dark room for 2-3 days , so that the previously made starch is not present .
STEP 2
Pluck out a leaf from the plant and wash it with water to get rid of all the dirt.
STEP 3
Water bath the leaf in alcohol to remover the chlorophyll.
STEP 4
Put drops of iodine on the leaf to check the presence of starch. Blue black indicates presence of starch
