List the steps of preparation of temporary mount of a leaf peel to observe stomata.

> pluck a leaf and bring the epidermis from the lower side
> put the piece in watch glass
> add few drops of safranin
> transfer leaf peel from watch glass to slide

1)Take a green and healthy leaf from the given plant.

2)From the lower side of the leaf gently remove a part of the peel by simply folding the leaf and using the forcep or knife to obtain the peel.

3)Put the peel in a water filled water filled watch glass,drop a few drops of safranin in the watchglass.

4)After some times take out the peel and put it into a clean watch glass,put a few drops of glycerin over the peel and firmly place a cover slip upon the leaf peel.

5)Use bloating paper to soak and remove the excess glycerin.

And your mount is ready for further observation under the microscope.
