Here is your answer ↓

The process of photosynthesis is as follows:

1. Carbon dioxide enters the leaves through tiny pores present on the surface of the leaf known as stomata. Water is taken up from the soil. Chlorophyll present in the chloroplasts absorbs the radiant energy from the sun.

2. This creates such conditions that light energy splits up the water molecules into hydrogen and oxygen, releasing energy in the form of ATP(Adenosine Triphosphate).

3. The energy produced is used to convert carbon dioxide into carbohydrates.

Stomata play a very important in absorbing the inorganic substances from the surroundings which are necessary for photosynthesis.
