The simpler form of food is absorbed by the lining on the wall of small intestine. This lining has tiny finger like projection called villi to increase the surface area for the absorption of the food . Each villus has proper supply of blood capillaries. by the process of diffusion nutrients mixes with blood. Thus the nutrients are carried to all parts of the body
