Homogeneous mixture

  • Components mixed are uniformly distributed throughout the mixture.
  • They are called solutions.
  • It can't be judged by seeing it.
  • Components can't be seperated easily.
  • Example :- Mixture of alcohol and water.

Heterogeneous mixture

  • Components are completely mixed and the particles can be seen under microscope.
  • Distributed non uniformly.
  • It can be judged by seeing it.
  • Components can be seperated easily.
