in plants the breathing mechanism is complex that is there r many kind of steps to understant it like, glycolysis, fermentation, tricarboxylic acid cycle, ETS system and oxidative photophosphorylation but in animals the process of respiration is quite simple... animals take in O2 and give out CO2... also there is release of energy like 36ATP mollecules... these energies r either utiliseded or stored...
in case of plants pyruvic acid is released during glycolysis... in animals lactic acid is released in anaerobic respiration...
in plants the the released CO2 is utilised in the process of photosynthesis... but in animals the CO2 is released directly to the atmosphere...
the process of respiration takes place in the cytoplasm of the cell in plants... in animals the major processes take plane in the mitochondria of the cell...
if u want to know more abt respiration in plants and animals then u can read the class 11 biology book...in detail... as ur wish hope it helps u... if u like the answer pls. mark it as brainliest....
