Answer:

Descriptions are given below

Explanation:

The process of development of the new species from the existing one is called speciation.

The various factors which can lead to speciation are given below:

1. The change in the frequencies of a particular gene and is also responsible for the growth of a particular trait within the population is caused by genetic drift.

2. The use of various barriers such as mountains, rivers is done by geographical isolation method. Promoting the growth of a particular trait in an individual because of reproductive isolation.

3. Isolation of sub-population by ecological barriers.

Speciation and it's causes are described below -

Speciation is a natural process where species seperate and their evolution occurs according to new situatuion. This results in formation of new species. The factors responsible are -

Reproductive isolation - When the related species are unable to mate and produce fertile offspring, the cause is called reproductive isolation. This may occur due to isolation due to geography, behaviour and genetic barriers.

Natural selection - It is a theory according to which only fittest and reproductive individuals survive. The result is due to differences in phenotype.

Mutation - Mutation can be man made as well as natural. Mutation causes change in genetic structure hence contributes to evolution.
