Use spermicide to help in pregnancy counteractive action.

Use a contraceptive wipe.

Get fitted for a diaphragm.

- Spermicide is a chemical that executes sperm. It's found in creams, foams, gels, and suppositories frequently accessible at any drugstore.

- The wipe is a little bit of white plastic froth that is embedded inside and it keeps the individual from getting pregnant.

- A diaphragm is a vault molded, silicone container that is embedded inside. To work successfully, it should be utilized with spermicide to block sperm from reaching eggs.

Contraceptive methods

Contraceptive methods are ways in which pregnancy is prevented artificially.

Methods of preventing pregnancy are medically referred to as contraceptive methods.
These are artificial methods used in prevention of conception or implantation of a fertilized ovum.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What are the different contraceptive methods?

1) Barrier methods

- These are techniques employed to artificially prevent the fertilization of an ovum by a sperm cell.  Barrier methods include use of condoms, diaphragm, use of spermicides and sterilization..

2) Hormonal methods

- In these methods, synthetic hormones are used to prevent the process of ovulation. The hormones can be introduced to the female through injection, ingestion and implantation of hormonal drugs.

3) Intrauterine devices

- These refer to devices placed in the uterus of a female to prevent the process of implantation of a fertilized ovum on the endometrium.

4) Natural methods

Pregnancies can also be prevented through natural means such as abstaining from sexual intercourse, withdrawal, fertility awareness methods and lactation amenorrhea method.

5) Emergency contraception

- This refers to use of hormonal methods to prevent the implantation of a fertilized ovum.

Note: it is important to note that apart from condoms, these contraceptive methods do not prevent sexually transmitted diseases such as HIV/AIDS
