Three ways in which a polar bear is adapted to live in Polar Regions:

  • Polar bear can eat high fat food and they have the adaptation to eat such food- Polar bear can eat high fat food like blubber of the seal fish which is very much energy rich food with high fat value and they can digest the food. Any other animal do not have the adaptation to eat such high fat food. This is the main adaptation that the polar bear have.
  • Thick fur in the body- The body of this bear is covered with the thickest fur which is not present in any other bear.
  • Low surface body area-In comparison to the other bear the polar bear have small legs and smaller extremities so they are able to lose less heat.
