(i)the British of forced Indians to produce cash crops like cotton ,jute and Indigo, in place of food crops .

(ii)these were used STP raw materials by the British to produce finished goods in England .

(iii) the British then sold these goods at a lower price in India.

(iv)such policies of the British ruined India's Agriculture and lead to famines.

(v) it also proven the industries, resulting in mass unemployment and poverty.
