1) Drinking a liquid with a straw.
=> When we suck up the air inside the straw, a vacuum is created in straw. The atmospheric air outside the straw, applies pressure on the liquid to fill up the empty space in straw. Hence, the liquid moves up and we are able to drink.
2) Syringe
=> When we pull the syringe, the water fills in it. When we pull it, the air pressure inside it reduces, creating a vacuum and thus, the liquid enters it due to the pressure exerted by the atmosphere.
