the two harmful effects are :-

burning fossil fuels in the atmosphere increases the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere which leads to air pollution

it is the form of unburnt carbon which releases very harm ful gases in the environment like Sulphur dioxide than they combine with the other gases present there and can also leads to acid rain
