Hey dear!

Water pollution has become the a serious problem for our Earth. We can reduce water pollution in the following ways:-

1. We should not throw sewage from homes and factories into the river bodies.

2. The villagers should avoid going on the banks of rivers to wash their clothes, utensils etc. They also should not wash their cattle in the river water.

3. The crimination of dead bodies (a ritual of throwing the ashes of their relative in Hinduism) near water bodies should be avoided.

4. Excess use of manures and fertilizers by farmers should be avoided as the excess ones are carried by rain into the water bodies. These manures and fertilizers then form a layer of algae on the water body and thus pollute it.

5. The leakage of oil by cargo ships into ocean bodies should be avoided.
